DEAR FAITHFUL PARTNERS,

This time we bring you greetings from home! We arrived back here in Brazil in early January. We just can’t believe that ¼ of the year is already gone. Marlon, Yara and Camille left just a few days after we returned for a much needed vacation. They did an excellent job leading the ministry as well as the six Amazon Boat Trips last year. Please keep them in your prayers as Yara just recently had another miscarriage. They were all excited about having another child this year. They are fine and always busy. Marlon will be sending out another CBM Electronic Newsletter real soon.

If we do not have your correct e-mail address, please let us know. We plan on sending out more electronic newsletters. Send your e-mail address to us at: cbmhaubner@terra.com.br

We have already made three Amazon Boat Ministry Trips since we came back. Our first team the end of January was organized by FAME’s Lonnie Burley. This was Lonnie’s second trip to Brazil and we had a very good one. You can read about it on our website: http://www.cbm.org.br/ The second trip was different. Marlon had arranged this soccer trip with a team from Indiana Wesleyan University. There were 40+ on the boat for a week of evangelizing and playing soccer. The March Amazon Boat Team was from Springfield, Ohio First Christian Church and led by Eric Stringer and Bruce Ludlow. Their journal and pictures are already on our website too.

This last month (March) the Novo Horizonte Church celebrated her 35th Anniversary. Our C.B.M. Ministry with almost 50 churches has been an example for many other churches by its ministry of Discipleship.

We would like to begin construction on the new medical boat soon. There have been some problems with getting a dependable and good engineer. If you have been here you know that things just don’t go the way you plan or as fast as you would like! But please keep our Amazon Project and the construction in your prayers.

SAVE THIS DATE: JULY 25, 2009 -Earl and Ruth Anne will be celebrating two anniversaries:

1). 40th year in Brazil as missionaries.

2). 50th wedding anniversary.

The 40/50 Celebration will be at the Georgetown, Ohio Church of Christ on Saturday, July 25.

Thanks for your faithful partnership with us. Your prayers, real interest and financial support make possible this mission work. And with you we continue…

Working For A Greater Harvest,

Earl and Ruth Anne Haubner
Marlon and Yara Brito
